This Privacy Policy explains how Agent Logger ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our browser extension and related services. Agent Logger is designed to bridge AI coding assistants with browser context.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This extension is designed with a privacy-first architecture where all data processing occurs locally on your machine.

Agent Logger collects minimal data, and all processing occurs locally:

• The extension communicates with the MCP server via local WebSocket (localhost)
• Native messaging uses stdin/stdout IPC with no network exposure
• Data is only sent to AI assistants when you explicitly click "Send"
• No data is transmitted to any third-party servers
• Screenshots are stored temporarily in /tmp and auto-cleaned

Data is only shared with the AI assistant you explicitly send it to:

• When you click "Send," data goes to your local AI assistant (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, etc.)
• We do not share data with any third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not sell your data

Note: Data you send to AI assistants is subject to those services' own privacy policies. Please review the privacy policies of Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Aider, or other AI assistants you use.

We implement several security measures to protect your data:

• Extension ID allowlist for native messaging authentication
• No network exposure from the extension (local-only communication)
• Per-site permission controls available
• Sensitive data (passwords, tokens) automatically redacted from screenshots
• Process isolation between extension and content scripts
• Origin verification for all communications

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data (data auto-clears locally)

Since all data is stored locally on your machine, you have full control over your data. You can clear extension storage at any time through Chrome's extension settings.

Agent Logger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Agent Logger does not transfer data internationally. All data processing occurs locally on your machine. The extension does not transmit data to any external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Including update notes in extension release notes
• For material changes, requesting re-consent where required
